Customer Reviews

Hong Kong Jack Ciao map is a record of Hong Kong in 2019 and guides you to discover the wonderful history of Hong Kong with paper products. The reason is that three years ago, many Hong Kong people wanted to immigrate. We wanted to find out what is beautiful and unchanged in Hong Kong in the past 20 years, and it is worth re-understanding the same definition, so we created "Jack Ciao Map". Unexpectedly, 23 years after the handover of sovereignty, disaster films are routinely screened in Hong Kong on Sundays. At first, they were written on paper, but now they have become daily life. In times of trouble, we produced two new chapters, each in Cantonese and English. We have produced 2 new chapters, each in Cantonese and English.

What is RISO?
It is a stencil printing technique. Japan's Ideal Company invented this technology into a small printing machine in the 1980s. When printing, one color plate has one color, and different color plates overlap to form a pattern. The most interesting thing about RISO printing is its colors, dots and experimentation. When the colors overlap, there will be an interesting color mixing effect, and the unpredictable overlapping of the color plates will make each printing more unique. In the end, you will receive 1 unique map!

Began in November 2016. Hong Kong Jack Ciao map was originally a free educational map written in Cantonese for those who escaped from Hong Kong. In the process of escaping, the users learned historical knowledge, explored Hong Kong from a new perspective, and changed their image of Hong Kong. The map contains 37 Hong Kong things that have not changed for twenty years, closely related to all the necessities of life in Jack Cao (meaning escape in Cantonese). To provide Hong Kong people with one more option besides immigration and tourism.Prepared by Jack Ciao in November 2016, and was first released on September 9, 2017 on the 20th anniversary of the handover of sovereignty. On the same day, Art and Culture Outreach held a Jack Ciao event party. The second release was on February 16, 2020, at the Sham Shui Po Form Society to hold the Hong Kong Jack Ciao Party 2020. Released two new chapters, "Traffic" and "Hiding Inspection (Nightlight Edition)".
